Appendix Overview
SECTION A – Introduction.
Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) is augmenting its June 2022 Facilities Master Plan (FMP) with this appendix dated April 2025. The purpose of this appendix is to update enrollment information to reflect changes since the original publication of the FMP, and to provide additional detailed information on the District’s current facilities, level of identified need, project funding sources and other pertinent information that the District will need for its comprehensive planning efforts. Specifically, since the preparation of the original FMP, two primary events have occurred necessitating this addition.
First, PUSD passed Measure I, which authorizes $395 million in funding from local bonds. Now that the District knows its primary facilities budget, the priorities in the original FMP need to be reconsidered to align projects with updated cost estimates to the funding that is now available. This appendix will show the District’s capital planning budget for the Measure I funds.
The second major event since the publication of the original FMP is the passage by California voters of Proposition 2, which provides additional funding for the State School Facility Program (SFP) while also adding additional regulations and requirements for some aspects of State funding qualifications. Most importantly, Proposition 2 brings new requirements for school districts to maintain a current 5-year Facilities Master Plan that includes specific key elements.
This appendix demonstrates that PUSD now has a current 5-year FMP that reflects all of the information required under new regulations being developed for the SFP following the passage of Proposition 2. Specifically, the following required components as outlined in AB247 and Education Code Section 17070.54 are included in this appendix, with the section of the appendix where information can be found indicated for each item.

SECTION C – Projected enrollment growth for the next five years.
